| Been absent due to laptop problems. Listing the problem in case you guys can help me with any other solutions. .-. It's looking like either my wireless card is dying (it came with my laptop, and both are about 3 years old now), or something else is keeping it from connecting properly. Whenever I try to connect to the router, I either get limited or no connectivity, or my network cannot renew my IP Address. The later is usually resolved with a simple restart, but I still get the problem. It can be one of these problems, or a combination of them: - My poor overworked wireless card is having a slow painful death, and is about to meet its maker (DELL, LOLWUT).
- Something might be wrong with the router, due to too many things pinging into it. Other then the two computers and the laptop, the PS3 and the Wii are also pinging into it on standby mode.
- My Network Setup could be screwed up.
I tried turning off the PS3 and the Wii with the two computers turned off, and I still get the same problem. Might probably try using a different wireless card that my roommate has to see if my wireless card is dying. Worse case scenario is that I have to connect to the router with an Ethernet cable, which is going to be a pain to wire it through my room. | |
